Accessibility Statement

EnvelorHome wants everyone to be able to shop with us, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the accessibility of our website.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we have done

  • Tested the site with automated checkers (axe, Lighthouse, WAVE), keyboard-only navigation and screen readers (VoiceOver).
  • Added descriptive text alternatives to product and page images.
  • Made menus, search, filters, product options and the cart work with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Checked colour contrast, text resizing and layout on small screens.
  • We re-test the site when we make changes.

Known limitations

A few parts of the site are provided by Shopify or other companies and cannot be changed by us. If any of these stop you, email us and we will help you directly.

  • Spam protection (hCaptcha). Shopify adds hCaptcha to our contact, newsletter, sign-in and account forms. It can move keyboard focus to a part of the page you cannot see, and its "Privacy" and "Terms" links do not show a visible focus outline.
  • Express payment buttons. Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal buttons are provided by Shopify and the payment companies, and we cannot test or change what is inside them. The regular "Check out" button always works with a keyboard and screen reader.
  • Sign-in pages. The customer sign-in and account pages are hosted by Shopify. Some text on these pages may have low colour contrast.
  • Other third-party features such as reviews, subscriptions and chat. We report issues to these providers, but we do not fully control their content.
  • Checkout is hosted by Shopify, which maintains its own accessibility program.
